Links to Student RSS Feed Pages

Complete the instructions below after you have completed the related activity in exercise #7 RSS Advanced.

1. Click the New Page link under Actions on the left menu to create a New Page in this wiki and remember the page name
2. Click Edit page on the new page, type a title at top of your page, then hit enter to move cursor below title.
3. Click to open the Embed Widget menu in toolbar and select the Other HTML option at end of the list.
4. Paste your Javascript code into the textbox provided. Click Save to close the window (do not Preview first).
5. A Media icon will appear on the page, click Save to save page edits (do not Preview, just save it to prevent confusion)
6. You should see a long list of feeds and text on the page like in my example
7. This is the page you link to in the next step below.

Edit the link with your name below.

1. Click Edit Page above to make a link from your name to your Feeds page.
2. Highlight your name in the list, then click the Link icon in menu above
3. Select your new RSS feed Wiki Page from the pull-down menu of all wiki pages to change the link to that page, then click Save.
